The center-ring is a safety device that allows the collar to roll over on the dogs neck should he get his collar caught on a fence, limb, etc and often frees him. You can clip a lead or leash to the center-ring. These are double-ply nylon and resin treated to prevent fraying. These do not come with a free nameplate.
